Robert Vela Homes, L.L.C. was established in July 2001 to serve customers within the $180,000 to $500,000 price range. We created a pleasant and uncomplicated way of building a home. No allowances to battle with. If you want to upgrade a standard feature, no problem we provide you a price and include any extra costs at closing. We have combined the best of the production and custom building worlds to be able to provide the pricing and processes of a production builder but you, our client receive the care and experience of a custom home builder. Your house will be built to your specifications not the builders.
As a member of the Texas Custom Builders Guild, Robert Vela Homes combines it's purchasing power with the other Custom Builder members to get the same pricing for labor and materials as the large National Builders. This allows us to provide you with very competitive pricing.

Who is Robert Vela?
Robert has been a licensed real estate Broker for over 25 years. He worked for several large production builders after he retired from AT&T with over 27 years of serving the company in leadership positions within Marketing, Business Sales and Public Communications. This experience has provided the foundation that the customer comes first.
Robert and his family (Wife Michelle, Daughters Nicole Vela and Gina Vela Dylla) have been in San Antonio for the last 30 years.
Robert received a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. He is trained on all the current aspects of the Real Estate & Residential Construction Industry.

When I consider how difficult it must have been for you to take my rough drawing and turn it into a beautiful home and add all the details like the beautiful entry and roof line and make it all work, I am in awe. Yes, I really do understand that had I picked one of your tried and true floor plans your job would have been much easier but I had a dream.
Michelle, I cannot tell you how much I appreciated your help in picking out everything for my new home. Knowing that I will probably spend the rest of my life in this home, of course I was so grateful for the help and advice even if it was just a nudge to trust my own taste or to steer me in another direction in such a gentle way.
